Get ready for a thrilling adventure with Spider-Noir, an upcoming Amazon Prime Video series that's set to shake up the Spider-Man universe! The latest promo has fans buzzing, revealing a menacing lineup of villains that will test our hero's mettle.
With Nicolas Cage taking on the iconic role, Spider-Noir promises an exciting twist on the classic Spider-Man story. Cage, who previously voiced Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is sure to bring his unique brand of charisma and intensity to the small screen.
But here's where it gets controversial... A recent animated video, courtesy of Brazilian news site Omelete, showcases five posters highlighting the main characters and their foes. Along with Spider-Noir (Nicolas Cage) and Cat Hardy (Li Jun Li), we get our first glimpse at Electro (Joe Massingill), Sandman (Jack Huston), Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson), and an unknown villain portrayed by Abraham Popoola, rumored to be Hammerhead. These posters are a tantalizing hint at the marketing campaign leading up to CCXP in Mexico City, scheduled for April 24-26, 2026.

And this is the part most people miss... Spider-Noir will be available on MGM+ in the United States on May 25, 2026, and then globally on Prime Video on May 27, 2026. The series, consisting of eight episodes, is set in an alternate universe within the Sony Spider-Man Universe, offering viewers the choice to stream in black-and-white or color.
This marks Nicolas Cage's first leading role in a TV show, and it's an intriguing one at that. Set in 1930s New York City, the series follows Ben Reilly, an aging investigator with a troubled past. Reilly, plagued by misfortune, secretly operates as the superhero The Spider until a personal tragedy forces him to hang up his mask. But when an extraordinary new case arises, Reilly must confront his demons and don the superhero mantle once more.
Spider-Noir is co-created by Oren Uziel, Steve Lightfoot, and Amy Pascal, with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, known for their work on the animated Spider-Verse films, also on board as executive producers alongside Cage, Harry Bradbeer, Aditya Sood, Dan Shear, and Pavlina Hatoupis. The star-studded cast also includes Lamorne Morris, Karen Rodriguez, Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Whitney Rice, and many more.
