On November 29th, Bryan was arrested by the Lane County Sheriff's Office after a report of reckless endangering. The incident occurred near Lowell, a popular camping area, where Bryan was traveling in a pickup truck with his partner, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, and their three children.
Here's where it gets controversial: Bryan stepped out of the truck, and Cartwright, for reasons unknown, attempted to run him over, crashing the vehicle into a ditch with the children inside. Thankfully, no one was injured in this chaotic situation.
But the story doesn't end there. Deputies observed signs of impairment in both Bryan and Cartwright. Cartwright was arrested and charged with a range of offenses, including first-degree attempted assault and driving under the influence. Bryan, on the other hand, was arrested for violating his probation, stemming from a previous fourth-degree assault charge.
And this is the part most people miss: Bryan had a court order prohibiting him from having contact with Cartwright. This latest arrest marks his sixth in just five years, with a history of domestic violence and DUI charges.
Bryan's legal troubles have been well-documented, with arrests in 2020, 2023, 2024, and now 2025. It's a sad turn of events for a once-beloved TV star.
